I was co-captain of the River City Rocketry team during the 2016–2017 NASA Student Launch Initiative season.
That season we won the Vehicle Design Award and were also named overall national champions, finishing ahead of teams including Vanderbilt and Cornell.
The season combined technical execution across structures, avionics, simulation, and controls with strong team-level coordination and systems integration.
